When you need a personal loan, sometimes you want to sit down with a real person. Desert Rock Capital has three Utah branches where you can walk in or book a time that works for you. This guide covers how to schedule your visit, what to bring, and what to expect.
Why book an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome at every Desert Rock Capital branch, but booking ahead means you get a dedicated window with a loan officer. No waiting in line, no guessing whether someone is free. You show up at your time, sit down with a team member, and talk through your situation.
An appointment is especially useful if you need to ask detailed questions about how installment loans work, how payments are structured, or what happens if you pay early. Our loan officers walk you through everything in plain language, no jargon, no pressure.
Where to book
Desert Rock Capital has three branches across Utah. Each one is open weekdays until 8 PM (except St. George, which closes at 6 PM on weekdays), so you can come in after work without rushing.
Salt Lake City
981 East 3300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM. Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Our Salt Lake City branch serves the Wasatch Front from Millcreek to West Valley City and everywhere in between. If you are coming from downtown or the University area, you are about a ten-minute drive from the branch.
Orem
1118 South State Street, Orem, UT 84097. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM. Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. The Orem branch is convenient for Provo, Lindon, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Vineyard, Spanish Fork, and Mapleton residents. Right on State Street, easy to find and plenty of parking.
St. George
168 North 100 East, Suite 250, St. George, UT 84770. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Closed weekends. Our southern Utah branch serves St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Santa Clara, Ivins, and the surrounding communities. Located just off St. George Boulevard in the heart of downtown.
What to bring
When you come in for your appointment, bring a few things to make the process fast:
- Proof of income: Your last two paystubs, an awards letter for fixed income, or other proof of what you earn.
- A valid government-issued ID: A driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport.
- Your Social Security card.
- Proof of residence: Something dated within the last 45 days showing your current Utah address, like a utility bill or lease.
If you do not have every item, do not worry. Our loan officers work with what you have and can often find a way forward. The list above covers the standard case, but every situation is different.
What happens during the appointment
You sit down with a loan officer who reviews your application and documents. The focus is on your income and ability to repay, not your credit score. Desert Rock Capital does not run a traditional credit check and does not require collateral.
You get a clear decision, typically in about 30 minutes. If approved, your funds can be ready the same day. The loan officer explains exactly how the payments work: fixed biweekly installments, fully amortized, with no balloon payment at the end and no prepayment penalty if you decide to pay it off early.
How to schedule
Booking takes about a minute. Go to the appointment page, pick your preferred branch, choose a date and time that works for you, and fill in your name and contact details. You will get a confirmation right away.
You can also call 801-377-3333 to book over the phone, or text us at 385-200-5494. Our team can answer questions about the loan process before you even set foot in a branch.
What if you cannot come to a branch?
No problem. You can apply entirely online at desertrockcapital.com/apply. The application is short, and a real loan officer reviews it, not an algorithm. Same loans, same terms, same quick decision. If you have questions while applying online, call or text anytime during business hours.
Ready to come in?
Book your appointment now at any of our three Utah branches. No credit check, no collateral, loans from $100 to $3,000, and a real person ready to help you through every step.
